SIGNING OF THE JOINT COMMITMENT AGREEMENT
The awareness-raising work carried out throughout 2016 and 2017 with non-state actors such as companies, business associations, non-governmental organizations and, in a very special way, universities, to insert the IAR Principles and the DVGT Guidelines in the university curriculum both in teaching (undergraduate and postgraduate) and in research, it allowed for a dynamic development, especially during those years, reaching a total of 27 universities in 7 countries (Peru, Argentina, Ecuador, Mexico, Colombia, the Dominican Republic and Spain ) and, to consolidate this process, an intense work was planned that ended in December 2018 with the individual commitment of 15 universities in Latin America and Spain and a joint agreement to act in coordination, reflecting these individual commitments to continue the work aligned in new future actions.
