Agreement Letter 2018: Objectives
Objective:
The objective of this agreement is to support food and nutritional security, helping to sensitize non-state actors - specifically academia - in the application of the IAR Principles, promoting collaborative research and dialogue among multiple stakeholders, emphasizing Relevant aspects of the Voluntary Guidelines on the Responsible Governance of Land Tenure (DGVT). All these actions will be carried out with the medium and long-term objective of inserting the subject in its different forms in the undergraduate and postgraduate curricula, as well as in research activities, in the universities with which this agreement will be worked. .
Products and ordered results
- Ten activities (curricular products) designed and inserted officially in the Career programs (Bachelor's and Postgraduate or Master's Programs) dictated by the Universities with which they have committed themselves to it during the development of the LOA, so that they develop Contents of IAR Principles and DVGT in its different forms.
- Five research cases prepared, where IAR and DVGT themes (shown in report one) are applied from companies, associations, etc; aimed at integration into the research activities of the Universities;
- Two Days to address the IAR and DVGT themes respectively, with the aim of sharing experiences and learning among the 20 Universities with which the latest messages have been worked on.
Description of services, activities to be carried out
Two Days, held respectively in:
- Peru on April 26 and 27, 2018 at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos
- Colombia on June 20 and 21, 2018 at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
Response to the following objectives:
- Bring together 25 Universities from 6 countries (Ecuador, Colombia, Peru, Mexico, Argentina and Spain) with authorities and academic managers (Rectors, Vice-rectors, Deans or Directors of Schools and Directors of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programs) , promoting dialogue on relevant aspects in relation to the IAR principles and the DVGT.
- Present and share Research cases.
- Formalize Official Commitment Minutes for your Authorities and academic managers. These Universities present different (curricular products) to officially insert the IAR Principles and the DVGT in their different forms, as well as the 5 Research cases where they are studied in the Career programs (Degree and Postgraduate or Master's Programs). IAR and DVGT themes are being applied.
